The contract beetween guide-sardinia and the customer is governed by the rules of the Italian Civil Code relating to the contract of carriage and in particular by the precept of the art. n. 1681, which expressly provides that “the carrier ( guides - sardinia) responds claims affecting the person of the traveler during the trip and losses or damages of the things that the traveler brings with him,  if he does not prove that he  has taken all measures required to avoid the damage”. It is therefore excluded the liability of the carrier in the periods of time (“free time”) between the way to and return to and from the destination.

Why do we collect your personal data?

During the reservation and purchase process, we ask you only for the personal data that we need to provide you with our services, as well as to attend you and solve any post-contractual query, claim or request. <we do not share your data for pubblicity or social media investigations. When you book a service with us, we could subscribe you to our newsletters, unless you say otherwise before confirming your booking. Th newsletter is not active at the moment on our website. Anyway, you will be able to unsubscribe at any moment, using the link that you will find in every newsletter for this purpose. If you provide us with your contact email address, but then you are unable to finish your booking, we use it to contact you in a personalized manner and help you to book your service, if you are still interested. We also keep it to recognize you when you visit our website again, in order to improve your user experience. The main purpose of processing is not subordinated to the consent given by using our Website to collect cookies and we do not share your anonymous information with third parties in any case. We do not make automated decisions based on profiles, beyond the customization of advertising and the legitimate prevention of fraud on the Internet.

How long do we keep your data?

We will keep your personal data while we have legal liabilities in relation to the services we have provided you with. In addition to the above, if you are subscribed to our newsletters, not active at the moment, we will keep your email address for this purpose until you ask to be unsubscribed. Moreover, if you provide us with your contact email address, but then you are unable to finish your booking, we will keep your email address only temporarily and, in any case, for a maximum period of 15 months. The information collected by our cookies is also kept for a maximum period of 15 months.

Payments made through Paypal
When you make payments for the purchase of our services through Paypal, both guide-sardinia and PayPal will use your personal data. PayPal has modified section 5.7 to outline the respective legal positions of PayPal and User guide-sardinia (and the obligations of the User) regarding the use of personal data of its customers and other parties regarding the use of PayPal services. All PayPal transactions are subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy. Please refer to section 5.7 of the Paypal Privacy. Guide-sardinia adopts all administrative, technical and material measures in order to guarantee the protection and confidentiality of all data and PayPal information, including data and information relating to PayPal Users and to PayPal itself.

The collection and processing of your personal data is mainly based on the porpouse of your request to provide you with the service required and the eventual statement you will have with us. When we send our newsletters, not active at the moment, to you or we use your email address to contact you in a personalized manner or to recognize you when you visit our website again, this is based on ourlegitimate interest in providing you with our services. The processing of the information collected by our cookies is based on the consent provided under the applicable laws. Cookies are alphanumeric indicators that are recorded via web browser on the hard disk of your computer, to make it recognizable at the next access.

Who are going to be the recipients of your personal data?

In order to provide you with our services, we sometimes could need to communicate your personal data to other partner companies, in order that they can provide you with the products or services you have requested, i.e. In the case of a transportation car hiring with driver for more then the seats available in our fleet, we can transmit your personal data like name, surname, arrival flght code and destination. In this case, the partner company will not save your data and anyway we check the partner has adequate internal policies to ensure that any data processing carried out by third parties is made under the strictest security requirements and according to the applicable laws.

The exercise of these rights is free of charge, unless you make unjustified or excessive requests. In this case, we will be entitled to charge you with a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.
